Square bass with sub
Square wave, sub level up, short VCF envelope — the default mono bass before acid.

Square + sub gives you harmonics for the filter to bite and a solid fundamental for club systems.
A short filter envelope on every note adds the ‘pluck’ that separates a bass line from a pad.

Select the square wave on the VCO (SAW/SQR switch).

Raise SUB LEVEL to taste; start around 70%.
